Privacy policy
Blue Halo Pools is a weekly pool service in Palm Beach County. This page explains what we collect when you ask us for a quote or become a customer, what we do with it, and what we will never do with it. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.
Only what it takes to price and service a pool
There is no account to create here and nothing to log into. Everything below comes either from a form you filled in or from servicing your pool.
- Your name, mobile number and service address — from the quote form or from the phone call. We need the address to price the pool against the route, and the mobile number to send you the quote.
- What you told us about the pool — size, screen or open, chlorine or salt, spa or no spa.
- Service records, once you are a customer — chemistry readings, what was added, tasks completed, and photos taken at your pool. These are the Pool Health Report.
- Billing details — handled by our payment processor. We see that an invoice was paid; we do not store your card number.
To see which pages and flyers bring people to us, this site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page visits without cookies and without following you to other sites. If you send the quote form, it also notes how you first reached the site, such as a flyer’s QR code or a link from Facebook. The site also uses the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram. It sets cookies and tells Meta which pages you viewed here and whether you sent a quote request, so we can see which ads work and show them to people nearby who are likely to need pool service. It does not send Meta your name, phone number, email or address. Meta handles that information under its own privacy policy. You can change the ads you see in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences, and you can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time. We do not sell data, and we have nothing to sell.
Your mobile number, specifically
If you tick the consent box on the quote form, you are agreeing to one thing: that we may text you about your pool. That means your quote, scheduling, service-day changes, and replies to questions you send us.
Message frequency varies with what is happening on your account, and most customers hear from us only when something needs saying. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not cancel your service — we will reach you by phone or email instead.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message consent is not shared with anyone. The only parties that ever touch your number are the vendors who make the messages work — our phone and messaging provider, and their carriers — and they may only use it to deliver the message.
A short list, and nobody buying your data
We share what we have to, with companies that run part of the business for us or show our ads. None of them buys your information from us.
- Our website host, which receives quote-form submissions and passes them to us.
- Our phone and messaging provider, which carries the calls and texts.
- Our accounting and payment provider, which issues invoices and processes payments.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram), which receives the website activity described above to measure and show our ads. If you request a quote through a form inside a Facebook or Instagram ad, Meta collects that form and passes it to us.
- Anyone the law requires, if we are ever legally obligated to produce records.
That is the whole list. We do not rent, sell or trade customer information, and we do not hand your details to other contractors looking for work.
Ask us and we will do it
You can ask what we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email or call and we will handle it — there is no form and no portal.
We keep quote requests that never became customers for about a year, in case you come back. Customer service records are kept while you are with us and for as long afterward as our tax and accounting obligations require. Photos from your Pool Health Reports are kept with those records and are not used anywhere else without asking you first.
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
